At Ranson Houghton we pride ourselves on identifying and training good support staff in our administrative and secretarial teams. We ask our support staff and secretarial teams to acquire legal background to a greater degree than is normal in law firms in all areas of law in which the practice involves itself. Our support teams assist us in our conveyancing, probate, matrimonial/children/domestic, litigation, and Court support work to enable our principal fee earners to concentrate their efforts on clients' behalf. The support teams are able to handle many enquiries of a "para legal" nature without involving the clients in the full cost of fee earner time, and so minimize total costs to the client. The work of a Solicitor is ever changing and our clients' individual needs are often unique. Knowledge of the law and its effect upon our clients' affairs is essential in both personal and business fields. Changes in the law are ever increasing and their effect continually needs re-appraisal. In conformity with the changes in the law and the legal profession at large, we ensure that we remain able to help, and advise in all areas of the law in which we have habitually been able to assist. Our contacts with other professions and clients' problems mean we remain uniquely placed to be able to give a rounded and complete service by either removing or solving problems to enable clients to achieve their business or personal objectives. One of our principal strengths is that we are independent and serve no one except our clients, offering an unbiased view. It is part of our job to analyse problems and to procure solutions for your benefit. |
