Accidents at Work

If you are injured while at work you may be due some form of compensation. It's important to remember that your employer has a duty of care to ensure you can do your job safely and is not legally allowed to dismiss you for making an injury claim.

Examples of what may cause an injury at work:-

  • Lifting heavy objects
  • Dangerous machinery
  • Hazards at work
  • Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI)
  • Lack of training and safety equipment
  • Industrial Deafness
  • Vibration White Finger
  • Asbestos

Hazards at work

If your employer fails in their duty to take reasonable care for your safety, it is highly possible that you would be able to make a claim.

Slips and Trips

If you have a fall and injure yourself and it was not your fault because someone else had a duty to keep the floor or path clear of obstruction, potholes, slippery substances and other hazards then you may be due compensation.
